These are some of my favorite places on the web:

  • Firefighters for Christ
    • has many Bible commentaries and sermons in MP3 format for download.  They have a searchable on-line Bible and MP3 Bible.  They also have a large list of audio cassette's of sermons and commentaries that they will send to you for FREE (no charge even for shipping)!  Of course this ministry is dependant on contributions to be able to provide these tapes at no cost.
  • e-Sword
    • is a fast and effective way to study the Bible.  e-Sword is feature rich and user friendly with more capabilities than you would expect in a free software package. The fact that e-Sword is free is just one of the blessings and does not speak of the quality of the software.  Free program for Windows 95, 98, Me, XP, NT4, or 2000.  The is also a new version for the Pocket PC!
  • Koinonia House - Chuck and Nancy Missler
    • Koinonia is a New Testament word which is most often translated to mean "communication", "fellowship", or "communion". Koinonia House, or K-House as we are affectionately called, is dedicated to the development and distribution of materials for encouraging and facilitating serious study of the Bible as the inerrant Word of God. We are a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization.

K-House was founded by Chuck and Nancy Missler. Chuck, a Naval academy graduate and former Branch Chief of the Dept. of Guided Missiles, had a remarkable 30-year executive career. He served on the Board of Directors of 12 public companies and was CEO of 6 of them. For twenty years Chuck balanced his high-profile corporate career with his teaching commitment to a weekly Bible study at Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa in Southern California. Nancy, while raising their four children, has touched the lives of thousands through her in-depth teaching of Biblical discoveries in her "Way of Agape" and "Be Ye Transformed" books and tape series.

  • Creation Science Research
    • Dr. Kent Hovind, and his son Eric Hovind reach thousands of people every week with the gospel of Jesus Christ via the creation message. With his extensive studies in science, Dr. Hovind has participated in many popular debates with prominent evolutionists. Some of these debates can be viewed here on our website, www.drdino.com.  Dr. Hovind is also known for his 17-hour award-winning seminar series. Including topics such as the Age of the Earth, and the so-called "Cavemen"! Many things are covered in great detail in this series, such as Carbon Dating, DNA, Whale evolution, horse evolution, and the human body! You're definitely going to be blown away by the information in these materials.

  • Bible.org
    • Access to the NET Bible - a freely available modern translation of the Bible which shows the transcribers notes and why they chose the wording they did as they transcribed from the best available Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek texts.  On-line Bible studies  Other trustworthy Bible Study resources.

  • Waterfalls of North Carolina
    • This is a wonderful place to learn about the many waterfalls and hiking trails of Western North Carolina.  There are hundreds of waterfalls and miles of hiking trails in this area and you could spend a lifetime trying to see everything.  There are many photos and a few videos of waterfalls, wildflowers and scenic views of NC.  I have visited some of these and plan to visit more in the future.

  • My Life Ministries
    • My Life Ministries is a community of ministries. Their perspective is that every Christian life is a ministry. How effective is your ministry? Their goal is to encourage each other and help where they can with other ministries. MyLifeMinistries.org is also the home of the Two Blind Squirrels Podcast. TBS is a Christian comedy podcast that is packed full of fun and safe content for the whole family without being sugary. Think of the squirrels as a friendship recorded live. The Two Blind Squirrels is a daily podcast that features everything from new contemporary Christian artists to two off key goofs singing about nothing. The squirrels cover a spectrum of topics that everyone can relate to and enjoy. If you haven't heard the squirrels, you need to check them out now.
